A DQA interview with our Artist

  • Greetings, it’s a pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Kay Roy, and I hail from Transylvania, where I was born to a Hungarian family in 1977. As a self-taught artist with a background in carpentry, I’ve developed a passion for expressing the wisdom of our ancestors through symbolism, words, and music. Throughout my life, I’ve also dedicated myself to the practice of martial arts, which has helped me explore the mystical dimensions of my being. Thank you for the opportunity to share a little bit about myself with you.

What is your artistic specialty?

  • I specialize in an art form that seeks to rekindle the ancient wisdom and mystical insights of our ancestors. Through my work, I endeavor to unlock the gates of perception and enable individuals to realize their full potential. My art reflects the visions and experiences gained from deep meditation, dream states, and participation in ancient tribal ceremonies. Every piece I create is a unique channeling of these energies, and I approach each work with a sense of wonder and curiosity, never knowing exactly where the process will lead.

When and how did you become interested in this fields of art?

  • My passion for art was kindled at a young age, growing up in a family and community that celebrated creativity and self-expression. As a child, I spent countless hours drawing and painting, honing my skills and exploring new avenues for artistic expression. As I grew older, my interests expanded to include a deep exploration of the inner dimensions of consciousness. It was during this period that I began to use my art as a means of reflecting and exploring these mystical energies. My journey took me to California, where I had the opportunity to meet and learn from several highly influential artists. Their perspectives and techniques had a profound impact on me, and I continue to draw inspiration from these experiences to this day. I’m grateful for the support and opportunities that have allowed me to pursue my passions and develop my artistic vision.

Who was your motivator?

  • My greatest motivator has always been the unknown – that ineffable, unquantifiable force that calls to us from beyond the realm of our immediate experience. It’s this sense of mystery and wonder that inspires me to continue exploring the many facets of art and consciousness, and to push the boundaries of what is possible in these fields.

  • Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to have many people in my life who have provided support, encouragement, and inspiration. From the earliest days of my childhood to the present, these individuals have helped me to develop my skills, hone my craft, and cultivate a sense of purpose and direction in my work. I’m deeply grateful for all the people who have played a role in my journey, and I continue to draw strength and inspiration from their influence.

What was your parents reaction?

  • When I first embarked on my artistic journey, I was fortunate to have the unwavering support of my parents. Their response to my decision was one of encouragement and open-mindedness, with a recognition that following one’s passions is the key to a fulfilling life.

  • My mother, in particular, was a source of deep gratitude for me during this time. Her unwavering faith in my abilities and her willingness to support my endeavors gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my artistic vision. I’m grateful every day for the love and support of my parents, and for their recognition that true happiness and success come from doing what we love most.

Please tell us when you started as a professional painter.

  • My journey as a professional painter began long before I ever put brush to canvas. From my earliest days, I was imbued with a sense of wonder and possibility, a recognition that there was something deeper and more profound waiting to be discovered through the act of creation.

  • It wasn’t until later in life, however, that I began to truly recognize the full scope of my artistic potential. Through a process of deep self-exploration and introspection, I came to understand that the true essence of my art lay not in the search for a particular style or aesthetic, but in the endless wellspring of possibility that exists within each of us.

  • With this realization came a newfound sense of purpose and direction in my work, as I set out to explore the full range of my creative abilities and push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of art. I’m grateful for the many experiences and insights that have brought me to where I am today and look forward to the many new discoveries that await me on my continuing journey.

Tell us please: Do you see a special connection between Painting and culture?

  • The relationship between painting and culture is a complex and multifaceted one, reflecting the ways in which art both reflects and shapes our shared experiences as human beings. While painting has historically been used to document events and people, as cameras do today, it has also evolved into an art form that seeks to explore the deeper mysteries of our existence. In my opinion, true art goes beyond mere technical skill or the documentation of events as they unfold. As the artist Alex Grey has noted, many young artists today have technical skills but nothing worthwhile to say, while others have something important to say but lack the patience to cultivate their craft. It is rare, Grey notes, to find an artist with both the technical skills and the significant message.

  • While many people may associate art with the expression of pain, trauma, and negativity, I believe that true art has the power to transcend these experiences and open us up to new levels of consciousness and possibility. Ultimately, the relationship between painting and culture is constantly evolving, reflecting the ways in which art both shapes and is shaped by our shared experiences as human beings. While the power of art to reflect and document our world remains as strong as ever, true art goes beyond mere documentation to tap into the deepest mysteries of our existence.

Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as a painter?

  • I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion as a painter, and for the ways in which it has enriched my life and the lives of others. The journey to this point has required a great deal of perseverance and determination, but the rewards have been immeasurable.

  • As I continue to create and share my work, I am constantly inspired by the ways in which it touches and transforms those who experience it. Seeing the positive impact that my art has on others fills me with a deep sense of joy and fulfillment and reminds me of the power of creativity to connect us to something greater than ourselves. In addition to the joy that my art brings me, I am also grateful for the many blessings in my life, including the love and support of my partner Lucy. Together, we have built a life filled with meaning and purpose, and I am constantly reminded of how fortunate I am to have her by my side.

  • In short, the answer is yes – I am deeply thankful and happy for my activities as a painter, and for the many ways in which they have enriched my life and the lives of those around me.

Why some Paintings become immortal?

  • The question of why some paintings become immortal is one that has fascinated artists, critics, and viewers alike for centuries. While there are many factors that can contribute to the lasting impact of a particular work of art, I believe that at its core, the immortality of a painting is rooted in its ability to connect with something deeper and more profound than the everyday world.

  • Many of the greatest paintings in history have captured a moment or an emotion that transcends the boundaries of time and place. They are windows into a world of mystery and magic, offering us a glimpse into the depths of our own souls and the infinite possibilities that lie within us. At the same time, I believe that the immortality of a painting is also tied to the energy and intention of the artist who created it. A painting that captures the sacral energy flowing through the artist has the potential to become a powerful and enduring force in our culture.

  • Ultimately, the immortality of a painting is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon, reflecting the ways in which art connects us to the deepest mysteries of our existence. Whether through its ability to capture a moment of beauty or to channel the energy of the divine, a painting that touches the heart and soul has the potential to transcend time and become a powerful force for generations to come.

Can you explain about painting logic?

  • The idea of painting logic is one that has been the subject of much debate and discussion over the centuries. While some may argue that art should follow a strict logic or rationality, I believe that the true power of painting lies in its ability to tap into the paradoxical and the mysterious.

  • At its core, art is a reflection of the deepest aspects of our being, and as such, it often defies easy explanation or categorization. Rather than following a strict logic or rationality, art operates on a different plane, one that is driven by emotion, intuition, and the boundless depths of the human experience.

  • In many ways, the paradox is the mother of art, as it allows us to explore the deeper mysteries of our existence and to tap into the divine energy that flows through all things. While the mind may seek to impose a strict logic or order on the world, art invites us to let go of these preconceptions and to open ourselves up to the endless possibilities that lie beyond.

  • Painting logic is not about following a strict set of rules or guidelines, but about tapping into the paradoxical and the mysterious in order to explore the deepest dimensions of our being. Whether through the use of color, texture, form, or symbolism, art invites us to let go of the limitations of the mind and to open ourselves up to the boundless potential of the heart.

I would like to ask you about the painting role in our life. Can you tell us about that?

  • The role of painting in our lives is a profound and multifaceted one, touching on everything from our emotions and our sense of self to our relationship with the world around us. At its core, painting is a means of communicating with the deepest aspects of our being, tapping into the universal language of imagery and symbolism that speaks directly to the subconscious. Through its ability to transcend time and space, painting has the power to touch us on a level that is beyond words, allowing us to connect with the very essence of our being in ways that are both profound and transformative. Whether through the use of color, form, or texture, painting invites us to explore the deeper mysteries of our existence and to tap into the universal energies that flow through all things.

  • Without art, our world would be a much bleaker and less inspiring place, stripped of the colors, scents, and emotions that make life so rich and meaningful. Whether through the creation of new works of art, or the appreciation of existing ones, painting has the power to open us up to new dimensions of experience and to deepen our understanding of the world around us.

  • Painting plays a vital role in our lives, helping us to connect with the deepest aspects of our being and to tap into the universal energies that flow through all things. Whether as creators, viewers, or simply appreciators of art, we all have a role to play in this timeless and endlessly fascinating field.

What is Your opinion about the situation of art and painting in future?

  • The future of art and painting is a subject that is very close to my heart. As a self-taught artist, I believe that art is not only a means of expression, but also a way of exploring the deepest mysteries of our existence. While the digital era has certainly brought about many changes in the world of art, I am confident that art will continue to thrive and evolve, as it has throughout human history.

  • Despite the many challenges that artists face in the modern world, I believe that the power of art is truly timeless. It is a force that has the ability to transcend time and space, and connect us to something greater than ourselves. Whether we are exploring the mysteries of the universe, or simply expressing our innermost thoughts and emotions, art has the power to inspire us, to transform us, and to bring us closer to the divine.

  • As we move forward into the future, I believe that art will continue to play a vital role in our lives. It will be a source of inspiration, of reflection, and of connection with the world around us. And while the medium may change, the essence of art will remain the same – an expression of the human soul, and a testament to the power of creativity and imagination. So, while the future of art and painting may be uncertain, I am confident that it will continue to thrive and inspire us for generations to come.

Can you become one part of the artistic-cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generation in your country?

  • As an artist, I believe that it is my responsibility to inspire and motivate the younger generation to embrace their creativity and explore the depths of their inner worlds. However, in today’s world, the culture is largely influenced by a superficial media, which often promotes materialism and superficial values.

  • Despite this challenge, I am committed to sharing my visionary art with those who are open to exploring the deeper dimensions of our existence. By sharing my work and my perspective with others, I hope to encourage young people to look beyond the superficial distractions of our modern world, and to connect with their own inner wisdom and creativity.

  • While I may not be part of a specific artistic-cultural movement, I believe that my art can serve as a catalyst for change, inspiring others to break free from the limitations of our current culture and to create a new, more visionary world. By going inward and exploring the mystical dimensions of our being, we can begin to tap into the infinite potential that lies within us, and to create a brighter future for ourselves and for the generations to come.

How can you help our world become a better place to live?

  • As an artist, I believe that I have a unique opportunity to contribute to making the world a better place. Through my paintings, I seek to inspire people to connect with their inner selves and to awaken to the infinite potential that lies within them. I believe that this kind of self-awareness is the first step toward building a more compassionate and harmonious world.

  • But I don’t just stop at my art. I also strive to live my life in a way that is consistent with my values and my vision for the world. I seek to be a positive influence on those around me, by treating others with kindness and respect, and by seeking to understand and appreciate different perspectives.

  • Ultimately, I believe that the key to creating a better world is to start with ourselves. By cultivating inner peace and harmony, we can begin to radiate positive energy out into the world, and to create a ripple effect that can touch the lives of those around us. So, I will continue to do what I love, to teach through my actions, to follow my heart, and to be a force for good in the world, in whatever ways I can.

Have you some words to say or suggestions for our buyers and investors?

  • Absolutely! As human beings, we often forget the immense potential and power that lies within us. But the truth is, each and every one of us is capable of incredible things. We are all unique and special in our own ways, with our own talents, strengths, and weaknesses.

  • So, my suggestion for all readers is to take the time to explore and discover what makes you truly unique and special. Embrace your creativity and your passions, and don’t be afraid to take risks and try new things. Remember that every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow, and that every setback is a chance to build resilience and determination.

  • Above all, trust in yourself and in your abilities. Believe that you are capable of achieving anything that you set your mind to, and that you have the power to make a positive impact in the world. With hard work, dedication, and a bit of courage, anything is possible.
