GAIA

Original painting: Acrylic and Ink on board (55×66 cm – 2016 Budapest)

Somewhere in the vast universe, on planet Earth, we got the chance to learn from the physical world. Mother Earth is like a nurturing cradle where we can grow and thrive if we understand her life-giving strength. She’s way smarter than us, and we couldn’t last a day without her abundance. By embracing her wisdom and power, we learn that serving others is the key. We can unlock this when we come back to Her with true humility and respect.

The biggest problem facing humanity is that we’ve lost touch with nature. The symbols in this painting show us gazing into Gaia’s eyes and seeing ourselves as her children in that reflection.

Her eyes are deep and piercing, blue like water – the source of life and the holder of ancestral knowledge.

With Mother Earth’s guidance, we can discover our sacred qualities and open our third eye, shown at the crown of the head in the painting.

The Guardian

Starting from the bottom of the painting, we see different symbols:

Our ancestors used to sit around the fire, sharing a shamanic pipe to show unity and peace. As they blew out the smoke, they sent their hopes and prayers to the spirit world. Smoke has qualities of all five elements – fire, water, earth, air, and ether. The feather on the pipe represents being light and playful, which sparks creativity.

The dagger on his arm symbolizes breaking free. We have to let go of the traumas and false beliefs holding us back. Letting go allows us to move forward. Plants fall into four groups – food, herbs, energy boosters, and master plants. Master herbs help us heal and link up with the spiritual and astral realms.

Two ravens behind the head represent a guardian watching over the afterlife. Our native ancestors also saw the raven as a hidden protector, helping us find our inner magic. Snakes symbolize self-healing, freedom, wisdom, rebirth, and the life force flowing through us.

At the crown of the head, we see the sun, representing fire, action, heat, and light. By connecting with nature, we can access our ancient powers. Open up the space of memory and see that there’s nothing new under the sun.

Trust your heart to guide you, speak from the heart, and find the balance to keep going. Be light and soar high into the purple sky where you can see it all.

Heart Center

The look in this woman’s eyes shows her determination and commitment. Tired of being held down and controlled, she chose to start following her own path, trusting her intuition and heart.

She opened her heart wide to everything and to the HEAVENS… realizing how short life is and how many amazing treasures it holds. She did this by connecting with her roots and tapping into the knowledge and wisdom of her ancestors.

As these roots grew, they formed a protective shield around her neck while also starting to stretch the imaginary grid of the ego. We can see her third eye activated on her forehead, acting as a compass for her intuition, helping her see through the illusions of the material world.

She resolved to follow her heart and intuition no matter what, inviting love, blessings, and clarity into her life.

Our life is the greatest gift and mystery. Don’t let anyone hold you down, go your own way, and do what your heart tells you!

Remember, life is a game, so don’t give in to seriousness! Crown yourself with these qualities!

Thank you ! – Kay Roy
